Pinnacle supplies real time 3D effects processors which are sold as an option with Avid NLEs. Avid must purchase Apple computers for resale in the majority of their business. As such, Avid is dependent upon both. In an annual or quarterly report, the company must report what they feel are potential risks. If Apple should be unable to supply computers, Avid would be unable to sell turnkey systems. Unlikely? Sure. But as a potential risk, it needs to be said.
