Tracy --- IDX is sloppy about its own home page. It posted today a report on
the second quarter, on canada newswire (www.newswire.ca). Revenue up,
losses up. Trying to expand.
quote from newswire:Mar. 5 /CNW/ - I.D. Internet Direct Ltd. through its
wholly owned subsidiary Canada Internet Direct Inc. is pleased to
announce the financial results for the quarter ending December 31,
1995.
Revenues for the second quarter ended December 31, 1995 were
$1,043,019 as compared to $637,825 for the first quarter, an increase
of 63%. The company has reported a net loss of $467,362 for the
second quarter or $0.06 per share as compared to net income of $6,915
or $0.00 for the first quarter. This change can be attributed to
several factors relating to the company's ramp up during its
expansion phase.
And it goes on, but copyright forbids excerpting more.

Unsolicited Comment: in my humble opinion (have no stock yet) IDX is going to
go lower. The phone companies here as in the USA are bullying the small
ISPs. Cable offers more bandwidth. A few cherished ISPs will survive,
but IDX is cordially hated by some of its subscribers (see its fora).
So it may simply sell out (at 1000 to 3000$ ??? per head) to the bullies.

One could figure out how many subscribers it has, how much debt it has, and see at
what point it will sell to iStar or its ilk.????
(This is all just wild speculation on my part.
I don't understand much about this business.)
