jim, i wanted to ask sokol if he had any more surprizes from a charge off standpoint for the 4Q. remember, he mentioned in his opening remarks that he was surprized that the street reacted so well to the charge and that if he knew we would react so well that perhaps he should have made it a little larger. that indicates to me that perhaps he's not done yet. i also wanted to ask him more details about the severence fund and how many people he expected to be moving off the payrol. in short while i needed to move some money out of ntn it did make me feel guilty when i put the order in. i still have 1k shares and the options but like everyone else i've been doing ok in some other stocks. aksef,bto,ntdoy,neop,mcic,fon & gte. i'm big on the long distance co's in here as i think more mergers are coming. also, i do feel the story for ntn has changed. it looks like it will be good long term for us but i fear the market may ruin our plans going into 1997. i should hav access to this computer for the next week so i'll check in more often. i hope all is well with you and yours. chris
