Hi Twister! A christian asked an aethiest why he doesn't believe in God and the athiest said it was a waste of time and their is no heaven. The christian replied that if I'm wrong, it's no big loss, but if I'm right...... So it is with Java. Yes, it is a programming language but it does have its ramifications. It's possible that through Java, SUNW, IBM, or another company can unseat MSFT in the operating system environment(i.e. internet OSs) Java has other uses but I won't bore you with the technicals. All of us investing in the promise that JAVA can bring have much to gain but not as much to lose. Do your research with JAVA and if you still disagree, then that's fine too. Again, I do agree with you that JAVA is a programming language. DF
