Critical Update still doesn't work after trying the following:

1.I went to the Windows Update Troubleshooters and did as suggested under the topic: Scan for updates freezes or stops at 0%.
a) I do not have Netsonic
b) The options "Automatically detect settings" and "Use automatic configuration scrip." were disabled.
c) SSL is working correctly

2. Next went to “Manual installation instructions for Windows Update controls”
a) Downloaded the controls from v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com. I extracted the files and right clicked the iuctl.inf file and hit install.

3. Critical Update still doesn’t work after restarting the computer.

Any ideas as to what I should try next?
