I realize that there are different opinions on the matter. However, I would never go back to regular ISP. I realize a successful trader can trade successfully with 56K modems or even less, I used to trade quite well with a 28.8K modem before. But I tell you with cable during market hours is fast as lightning in my expereience once again. In the evening it tends to slow down somewhat because the regualar internet crowd who work during the day log on.

The point is once you get used to lightning fast internet - you will never go back to anything less - whether you're a success or unsuccessful trader. And it doesn't really involve additional expense over regualr ISP.
