Thanks for the response. Interesting that you had the same problem. You were correct in saying that I had to click on "Adjust for daylight saving time". I had tried that before but when I clicked the box and then clicked OK it made my tray clock (lower right) jump one hour ahead so I undid the check mark and assumed that would not fix it. This time I clicked it and then closed the window and then went to the clock in the tray and adjusted it back an hour. Now all is in sync and working properly.

Apparently the default for Outlook is to have daylight savings unchecked. You would think it would be designed to follow the system clock which adjusts itself for daylight savings.
