jonkai > notice the 8.2% that surf the web are using a mac... that is a pretty good indication of Apple's true total market share penetration in the home...... as opposed to monthly sells market share numbers, or quarterly or even yearly market share numbers based on sells..... when someone try's to tell you apple has only 2% market share..... One of my favorite songs is by Dan Fogelberg it is called " The Reach" How many times have you taken the time to answer survey questions online or on the phone. Most mature adults wouldn't take the time. Young users who might be a Mac user might take the time. Do you think for a second, many replies were from students who might only have access to a Mac in their school library or that Mac users might also be a younger age group who have a tendancy to use the net than does the older more mature user who might just by chance be a PC user? I think I saw a survey once stating that Mac users download more porno because they are suppose to be more graphically minded? LOL!
