I used to have same problem but upgraded all trading machines. I use at least 1 gig on memory and 2.0 P4 (or 4M) for processor. Still have to reboot but it is quicker on the reboot and load.

Even away from broadband, I'm amazed at the speed of good ole dial-up and streamers.
