Your favorite stock is EBAY with a 184 PE, a 15 billion market cap and although one of the few dot-coms that hasn't bombed, a very risky play as anyone could compete with them and they have only 500 mill cash. But hey I won't criticize you for loading up on that over-priced fatty.

You are obsessed with SCNT but it has more that twice its market cap in cash, admittedly a dog but a dog priced for multiplying your money over the coming year or so. I admit I bought too soon but I will end up making a profit. Now it is a bargain and maybe I will buy some more to average down. Just buying leaders first. Can't buy everything. And yes my brother did work there and reports the last thing in the world they are worried about is bankruptcy. Now that they have gone lean and mean they're just worried about getting new contracts. If they get a few more they report they'll be in profits by early next year. A tall order? Maybe not as they are targeting energy and chemical companies now and have already landed BP as a new client. One or two more of those and you might see SCNT make 500% within 6-9 months. 200% would be easy.

Also SCNT just as a trading stock goes up and down 10% a day and can be played every day of the week like that. 40 cents seems to be its rock bottom as they have 80 million cash, no debt and no more burn rate so you can play it between 42 and 47 say. Or higher. They have also acquired new clients with their merger and have consolidated forces and office space. All pretty good news.

The problem really is the entire sector. Few in that sector will survive, but SCNT will be one of those few. At least that is my understanding. I don't pretend to know everything. Also, according to my brother, buy-out talks with HWP and IBM have happened though there is no guarantee of any deal. Perhaps IBM and HWP are waiting, as you might expect they would in this environment.

So buy EBAY at 184 PE? What do you think?

PS - You're kind of an A-hole you know that don't you?
