The problem is caused by people promoting the idea that corporations are inherently evil and have all the money so it is OK to steal from them. It is moral failure on the part of each individual who buys into this. Why do people feel that they are entitled to something that doesn't belong to them, because they have been duped into thinking that somehow the corporations have taken something from them. Just read your words: What has caused this problem? Is it because insurance companies are given tax advantages? Is it because people have lost respect of and if so why? Is it because insurance companies out of greed did not come up with fair value. You are infected with the same disease whether you act on it or not.
