They have a system now that may be able to deal with the type of primitive missile attacks that a country like North Korea might be able to make.

Which doesn't mean the system is a good one yet. It isn't. And the fact that it isn't means I wouldn't support massive deployment until the system is improved. But it doesn't mean we shouldn't have any protection at all while we are waiting on improvements.

Getting back to the original context of these posts - The deployment of these missiles isn't aggressively threatening Russia. The system can't deal with the type of attack the Russians can make, and even if it could it would only be a defensive system, not a case of aggression.
