Ye ya Greg, We beat the Cubbies Friday nite...Trevor Hoffman shut them down in the 9th...just like Thursday nite when he toyed with and beat Sosa who made the last out of the game. Saturday, Hoffman did not pitch and the Cubs won...Average age of Padres players is about 24...club has sold off most of the high priced talent since the great season of 98..Hoffman will probably go soon.....they've played 49 players this year...close to a record...... But, we had a good time Fri nite.....jj
