Angel, excellent point. My favorite phrases are: "We anticipate we'll do..." (read: hey, it's my opinion so I can say anything I want...) "I've got contracts on my desk worth..." (read: no chance in hell we'll ever close these deals, but if hell freezes over then...) "If we only get 1% of the market..." (read: we have no business plan, no employees, we're working out of my garage, but...) "We're meeting with a major brokerage house..." (read: we'll never get by the receptionist but...) - Jeff ~~~~~~~~~~ My own personal "red flag" is when the company issues press releases at least once a week talking about revenues "at the rate of" or some such thing, but not real revenues.
