It's not so much that $/barrel will or even needs to continue higher. It's just that crude is at a level where domestic producers can make money bringing their product to market and make a profit. I've heard $14/barrel is breakeven on most wells. Also, the danger of relying on imports has again been demonstrated to the public/politicos. We'll see. I appreciate your opinion.
