"None of the fundamentals about this company has changed ..." A classic investor mistake. People tend to overestimate short term change and underestimate long term change. On the margin, you are actually witnessing the maturation of Oracle's growth. It's temporarily masked by the recent stimulus of business from Y2K packaged applications purchasing.
