NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 1998--THINK New Ideas, Inc. (NASDAQ NMS: THNK; www.thinkinc.com) and The Retirement Services Group of John Hancock today announced the debut of the first in a series of next-generation digital integrated marketing tools built on Digital Versatile Disks (DVD-ROM), which detail the benefits and features of JHRS' 401(k) plans. The DVD is an integral part of John Hancock Retirement Services' recent brand repositioning strategy as a financial services company that is "as good as our word."

These next-generation marketing tools utilize the breadth and power of the DVD-ROM format's expanded storage, speed, production value and high-end graphics capability to integrate planning and analysis elements with storytelling and narrative elements. The entire experience integrates more than 400 interactive screens and seamlessly blends special effects video, animation, illustration, and rules-based decision making and customization. It is management's belief that this is the first such use of the DVD platform within this context.
