Agreed, will the IRS collect taxes? Will social security send out checks? The interesting thing is that although US companies are behind the 8 ball it's even worse overseas. A lot of folks think this thing will just go away. what are the investment implications if only 5% to 10% of the world's large organizations and governments cease to function? I suspect there's a y2k implications thread around here. Is there one that doesn't discuss the stocks, but the economic implications? TD
