Anita Hill," President Clinton announced during a speech today [Friday] at a commemoration to mark the 35TH ANNIVERSARY OF MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.'S "I HAVE A DREAM" SPEECH. The Anita Hill that the President thanked is the Hill we all know, the former University of Oklahoma law professor who alleged during the 1991 Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Justice Clarence Thomas that he had sexually harassed her. Hill is a member of the Host Committee for the celebration of the King Speech. Cameras captured Hill standing and applauding Clinton at the end of the ceremony. DD
