To anyone:
Stocks--a metaphor for ???

One who speculates in a stock that goes up too high, too fast, fueled by a greedy desire for instant gratification, will most likely, in the cloud of their euphoric stupor, be caught off guard and left stunned by the severity and velocity of its crash back down to earth.

It is much more rewarding to invest in the stock that has already been purged of all wild speculation and is showing stability and strength over a reasonable period of time. It will climb slowly and solidly, with relatively minor pullbacks, and will ultimately prove far more rewarding for the patient and disciplined investor. No--not as exciting; but, by far, much safer. And you don't have to watch it every second! You know its there--you know its o.k. mrf
