It shows that Sweden is not an example of how extensive government benefits, high taxes, and socialized sectors of the economy are without economic costs.

However it would appear that the Swedes are happy with their econ. model and it looks to be functioning well. If they don't like it, they can certainly vote to change it.

Thats fine for them. I'm not asking them to change. I'm just pointing out how their model is not a good one for us.

However, with street crimes or home burglaries which we normally think of when we think of crime, Sweden's rates are lower than ours.

Their murder and assualt rates are lower. I think their other street crime rates are higher.
