I am having a very odd evening. I delivered a how to talk on options to a local investment club. When I got in the car I found I had this insatiable desire to listen to fiddle music. I had Bach's Sonatas and Partitas in the car, and listened on the way home. But the aural kaleidoscopes were somehow incomplete. Then I listened to the Kreisler cadenza from Beethoven's violin concerto, but still no resolution. On to Paganini -- it's like a search for the spot on your back that itches but you cannot find it. You think you've gotten it but it suddenly moves.

The odd thing is that I know it is associated with a fiddle, but which piece? Maybe de Sarasote's Carmen Suite will turn the trick.
