Look at you.......just two posts ago, you were questioning the validity of global dimming but now you're ready to endorse it in an effort to invalidate global warming

I'm not ready to endorse it. Perhaps I should have bolded the word IF, you seem to have had a problem noticing it when I posted "If global dimming is going to be a factor it is going to work against global warming..."

OTOH if global dimming is not and will not be a factor then your mention of it isn't really relevant to the global warming debate. I figured that would be obvious so I didn't add the 2nd if.

Why don't you admit that you want no gov't spending except for defense and be done with it?

Because "admiting" such a thing would be a lie.

Its hopeless.........we need to give up and suffocate in our own waste.

How does "To some extent this would be done by using less convenient or more expensive energy sources, to some extent it could be done by greater efficiency, but also to some extent it would have to be done by producing less (at least less then we would have produced).", translate to "its hopeless"???

In any case CO2 emissions are not going to be something that we are going to suffocate in, unless you emit them in to an enclosed area.
