Kazakstan Goldfields [KGFC.CDN] - More from 'The Source'

And today, more from 'the source':

I didn't expect to be back that soon, but here I'm again...!!

We may see more media exposure on the KGFC story. I hear rumors that the Globe and Mail may
revisit the story it had reported on several months ago on KGFC. At that time the Globe covered
the story of Placer Dome and KGFC legal dispute with the Government of Kazakstan. As some of
you may recall, Placer took a cash settlement to drop its legal action against the Government. The
current situation with KGFC is somewhat different since the company wishes to takeover the 3
mines in dispute rather than walk away with a cash settlement. Of course it would be nice to have
$28.6 million ($0.80/share), but as producing mines the value is substantially higher. These mines
were scheduled to produce 175,000 oz. of gold in 1997, but the dispute put a halt to this.

Going back to the coverage by the Globe, I speculate that the report may indicate positive
developments in that both parties (the Government and KGFC) are on the right track in resolving
the dispute. I believe any resolution should bring higher share price. Of course any such media
exposure by the Globe may wake-up investors and speculators regarding the recent
developments, and we know what speculators can do to a stock! So, let's keep an eye on the
Globe and see where it takes us...

For more on the current status, check the Insider Report on KGFC for March 17, 1998.

The Source...I'll be back!!!
