Certainly Microsoft and everybody here can have their own views, and there is some (small, IMHO) chance that the judge's FOF will be reversed (or even that Microsoft may still "win" +/- in the trial court on the law, a possibility that nobody here seems to even consider as they rail against the judge). I don't think I've missed that point at all. However, what I see here is not rational disagreement but instead passionate calls for revolt, a change of government, etc., complete contempt for the judge and legal system, and comparisons to Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc. I have NOT seen much dispassionate analysis of Microsoft's procedural posture and available strategies going forward. Maybe nobody here is capable of that, or perhaps those who are choose not to share.

In my opinion, anybody who is basing their investment strategy on an assumption that Microsoft will win on appeal is deluding themself.

But that's JMHO, as always. None of this should be interpreted as a legal opinion.
