You can also lose alot mate!. In the UK we tend to have diversified portfolios. I have 19 UK stocks 5 US tech stocks(including INTC) 4 International mutual funds(unit trusts) for Europian and Asian exposure. Over the long term its doing well. It may fall but I will not lose everything as you could with large 'bets' on single stocks. Cheers Pete G
