No argument there. If it works (and I think we will know with a few weeks to a month) then this will be a major breakthrough. I think you would want to commence treatment well before the need for a ventilator. By the time patents reach that stage there is often multiple organ damage. This would expand the patent pool 5 fold or more(?). I hope the companies are ready to gear up to such volume.
