Fernando: More wholesale prices. Tech Data sells Zip drives to dealers for $185 each. This is higher than the Ingram Micro price of $174.50 that I reported earlier. Tech Data may just be keeping their margin higher. Or, the discrepency may be due to my being a "C" dealer to Tech Data, while I got the Ingram price from someone else who may be an "A" dealer (better pricing because of bigger orders).

Similarly, Tech data sells Zip disk 10-packs for $126.50. More than Ingram's $118.67. I am comfortable with the distributors making 10% on the lower numbers.

NEW DATA: Tech Data sells the External Jaz drive to dealers for $540. The Internal Jaz for $450. Jaz disk 5-pack is $431. and single Jaz disk is $108. I did not get Ingram Jaz pricing.
