William, Am I the only one here who sees this as a major blunder by DEC? It seems to me that they have just sent a message to their customers that the Alpha is a deadend. Getting rid of Alpha means DEC is endorsing the Intel platform 100%. Where else are they going to go? SPARC? I don't think so. Could Intel have suckered DEC into leaking these press releases? EP
