Pete, Have held ASND for almost 1 year.
Bought my first position at 55. Doubled up at 54.
Doubled up again at 34. Added more at 33. Bought my last lot at
22 3/8.

I have rode this baby all the way down. For all the reasons posted on this thread and elseware about the explosive growth of the internet,

I PLAN TO HOLD MY ASND FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER YEAR.

The biggest mistakes any of us individual investors make is selling to soon. I have made this mistake over and over again.
Far too much potential here.

I like some others on this thread < Hi Glenn, :) >, got rocked by having a heavily margined position in both coms and asnd. Fortunatly, I came out allright, a little shell shocked, but continued to add to my position. (I probably slept only a couple of hours between October and November 97' and the wife wanted to have me committed but I eventually got used to being in that huge hole and stopped worrying about it.)

I do not want to see a buy out.
I think the stock will be back at 80 by next year.
I remember AMAT when it was in the dumps...I'm still kicking myself for missing that one.
Mory joked at a conference last year that he would sell for $100.00 per share. I really didn't think he was joking!

I think we are in for quite a ride.

My thoughts only.
