In my post of 8/20, I said Amati had a contract with Hong Kong Telephone and several days later found out the deal wasn't "inked" as my friend had been told. (Since then I've heard so many variations on the story I don't know what's true and what isn't.) The other discrepency has to do with LSI being a vendor and not a partner. (They make chips for Amati.) As you can well imagine, I'm being extremely careful about posting information that's given to me. Because of my visibility on AOL, I'm given far more information than I seek. Enough said. Feel free to contact me via email if you have any further questions.
