I've tried that and never got it to stick. My preference was just the opposite, I was trying to get IE4 to open additional windows in a minimized state but couldn't. However, it seemed to have a mind of it's own--one day I would find it had changed and it would open minimized for a week or so and then it would be back to maximize without me ever having a say-so. Hmmm, maybe the wife is the culprit, could it be that she knows something I don't?
