While I agree that it's always wise to perform due diligence and to be cautious, I think that an important point here is that there is an "apparent" reason for the price action -- the earnings report and the reaction to it. The question is, is this a "good" reason to drop the stock price >20%? I would note that it was not all that long ago that this market dropped JBIL around $12/share on what appeared to be a reasonable, if not rousing, earnings report, i.e. for no apparent good reason. I can personally attest that this was a gift -- so they do happen. Whether this is a similar case is, I think, what we are trying to determine. I don't think that it's hyping the stock to wonder about this rather remarkable price action. Do you see anything in the earnings report that warrants the steep drop in the share price?
