<<<my reasonably held opinion>> Ian, That reminds me of a response letter I got a couple years ago from the President and CEO for the John Hancock Funds, LLC. Hartstein's response was for a letter I had written to their parent company(Manulife Financial) telling them they had a fund manager heavily invested in a fraud operation and that he was touting it on TV and other places with the following statement..."We believe Medis is fundamentally as strong as it has ever been, and it remains one of the portfolio's largest holdings" At the time the stock was trading for around $30.00. This is the quote from Holstein's reply....."Differences of opinion about securities are what make the stock market work. At the end of the day, we respect anyone's right to hold a different opinion about a company, but we stand by our portfolio managers and their decisions, as they have a demonstrated long-term track record of being right more than they have been wrong." Ian....at the end of the day, we retail customers are pawns in the gaming of our money by crooks! PS: This particular fund manager was fired.......and today you can get this former $30.00 stock for-- finance.yahoo.com And it traded 20,000 shares today and the company has no office and hasn't filed any required SEC documents in months. CTIC will be around for years.....there will always be those who 'believe'!
