OFF TOPIC Violetta, Despite conventional press coverage of Korean gold sales, Asians, in general, are net buyers of gold to protect against further currency devaluations. There is near hysterical short covering on gold in the Far East. usagold.com As their markets remain in turmoil, gold buying will remain strong. It is said that when markets fluctuate wildly, as is now happening in that region's stock markets, they are seeking direction. Such volatility often precedes a sustained move to the upside or down. If gold sales remain strong in Asia, I think the market is betting on further erosion in those economies. VP
