"what happens when the price closes below $5?". Well, if that were to happen it would cause alot of margin calls and stock to be sold. THis in turn would cause all of those shares lent out to shorts to cover. It would look alot like the trading we saw when Merrill Lynch dumped just over 600k of John Rendall's shares a week or so ago.

What would happen if the trading is halted pending news and when it reopened it was at $20 or $30 per share?
