Hi Chen: Once again I sliped out the side door, AOL diped and I let my June puts go..didn't make much or her the last two weeks has been hell fighting her short term, and cost me not looking at other stuff..they posted a de-listing on the Naz of a penny stock I was playing, had done good on her..Atel..they posted it last night and with my watching this AOL I missed it..crap I lost my butt on ATEL this time for more than I every made on her. Two many irons in the fire..also that NXTL has gone up so I missed her too.. ---------------- I got my Jan98 puts now and may increse them or get some jan99s but I'm out of this short term crap..it's two much hassel. I still belive NXTL will do next year like AOL is doing now, and having some leaps to short aginst will be a good play, I'm going to keep an eye on her for any retrace..the calls I wanted are already up a point..and I still tink the ones making the bucks on AOL are thoes who thought ahead and bought thoes jan98 calls last Nov. as they have had cover for the short sell now for a long time..it's much cheaper to short sell than to play in and out of options..but it takes planing and looking ahead. I can't risk shorting if I don't have calls to cover me, and AOLs have been to high I got to this party to late for that angle. Next year I think the party will be named NXTL.. I may be wrong but that's the way I'm headed. -------------------------- Short term I think the brain dead fund managers will toss money at this dog, and she has not responded this time to the profit taking ..in the last two days I'v seen some large blocks trade and my guess is about half of the insider sales have gone out now, and she has not droped near as much as I though she would, I know for every sell there is a buy..but for the sake of being able to call a block a sell, or a buy..I go by the way it makes the stock move..if the stock goes down on a large block I call it a sell, if Up I call it a buy..at least 200k of large "sells" have gone out in last 2 days they wait and she recovers some and they sell more..but with the fumbdums getting money tossed at them and don't know what else to buy they keep, picking up AOL each time she falls..I came out OK I guess except for beating my brains out and not watching my other stuff like I should have. From here on out I'm playing only options that have a lot of time out front, and with a planed stratigy were I can turn the computer lose for a few days <G> Well I bet the dog will crash big time now that I cashed in my June puts...<G>..but for now I'm glad I cashed them even if the profit was a small one.
