The Fix has made a couple really good points here.
So this is to everyone on the thread and all the lurkers, readers out there. I assume its your money you are playing with so the decision of what to buy, when, how much and when to sell should be yours and yours alone. SI is a great way to exchange info and to get up to speed on a company and what they are doing but from following a number a threads it obvious that not everyone is whom they seem and some people have some alterier motives, some of which I can only quess at.
To the fixs list I would add your broker, promoters, company reps, IR people, newsletter writers etc. Some are good but some arent out their for your best interest but their own.
There is a saying in the exploration buisness, "If mines were easy to find, everyone would own one" Ive see the best looking properties geologically turn out to be duds for one reason or another and Ive seen the worst looking chunks of moose pasture have a mine hiddden on them.
Also Ive seen companies, big experienced well funded companies, walk from a property only to have small underfunded ragtag junior take it over a few years latter and find a mine.
There are dozens of ways to play the market and to pick stocks. Set out a game plan for yourself that you are comfortable with. Never invest more then you are prepared to loose, take some profit when you can and never put all your eggs in one basket.
When the diamond rush first got going in the NWT it looked real easy to make money. Just buy a stock from a company with a diamond play in the nwt and the stock went up. Alot of people who had never played the market started buying stocks and on paper were making money, some got in deep by investing more and more. When the DHK, Mill city busts came some people lost a bundle. They had invested far to much, they had failed to take any profits and they faiiled to realize all their stocks might not have been in one company but they were in one play so when it went bust for a number of months they lost big time. They in effect had all their eggs in one basket, had margined themselves to the hilt and paid the price.
So as the FIX says do your own DD. Its your money so make your own descisions, dont let your broker, SI posters, or newsletter writers talk you in or out of postions you are not comfortable with.
regards Walt
