I just found multiple uses of the word, which is why I questioned the claim.


Don't be too sure they came from Reuters. The media feels free to change wording in their wire stories and still leave the "Reuters" at the top. If Reuters's policy has changed, I think Snopes would have updated their reference. I have always found them accurate.
