How can I take a photo from MS Photo Editor or another program and paste it into a e-mail?

Steve,

You just need to find the file that represents the image you want and attach it to your email message within your email program. See email program help for how to attach a file, and if you get stuck, ask here again. It's best for quality/size of file that the format is jpeg, extension jpg, for photos.

You can also capture any portion of your screen with a file capture program like SnagIt, as Gottfried just directed in response to a closely related question. You save this capture to a file, then attach it to an email in the normal way. But if you already have a file that represents an image you want send, it's much better to just send the file.

BTW, a free program called MwSnap has filled my simple image capturing needs quite nicely.
