Ahhh, thank you so very very much. So, if there are going to be about 130-150M drives in each year 97 and 98 (I know these are guestimates, but they have some basis of predictability), then AXC is looking at at least some portion of that potential. At least tens of millions, even if they captured only a portion of drives. From 10Q's and K we know that there were 8 primary manufacturers that accounted for the overwhelming majority of disk drives, and H-P, one of these 8, just dropped out. So 7 major manufacturers divy up a 100+M disk drives yearly. Even one manufacturer, and AXC is currently (last we knew on latest 10Q) talking to 4 of them, we are talking tens of millions potential market. MMM MMM very interesting. Thanks for the data, Glenn. Now we can play around with (multiples of dollars per drive) X (tens of millions of drives)= (eps explosion), enough to delight momentum players and drive this stock up to incredible heights if some agreements are signed and then analysts start putting some hard figure estimates out for people to see. As they say, "Hey, it could happen!" Good investigative work, Glenn! |
