I believe you missed the point. Forget aol.... Let's start over. Rumor on the floor that starts around noon. cnbc announces rumor at 3:50 just before close. They are associated with the outfit in the rumor (Barron's) imo they could have reported Yes there is a rumor and yes or no it is true.

I don't think it was responsible on a Friday afternoon to report a rumor just before closing and not have checked it out when they had three hours to do it. That's what this thread is about critique.

This is not about aol... I like Ron and believe he stops some of this stuff when the jerk reports rumors at the close and this one got away from him.... However where were cnbc producers etc.

I also want to hear rumors etc as an investor asap and I will decide what action needs to be taken but let's get some responsible reporting. see ya JOHN
