Everyone on the far left, including the President, is saying how they should go FURTHER LEFT. It looks like Republicans will have a good shot at taking back both Houses in November. They have learned NOTHING from tonight's result. I just heard Juan Williams on Fox say that everything he's hearing from the White House is about doubling down, not compromise. To which I can only say, Oh please do. Make your own party be the one who cuts you down. Blue Dogs are not walking the plank for an unpopular health care bill after this. They are all out practicing the Scott Brown campaign moves, watching the videotape, trying on those lines, even as we speak. If they work in Massachusetts they will work anywhere.
