Mark, first of all, please don't call me Mr. Mike will do just fine. Telco's have a history in certain product lines of launching vendor technologies that are supplanted fairly quick. I think any vendor chosen will have to prove product scalability for the future, that is if they want a telco to take them seriously. Also, most stockholders can not know for sure what technologies will work or not work. Nobody on SI knows for sure how things will pan out in a year. Witness the debacle of certain telco's rolling out ADSL for video, and look what happened to most of that. Just went up in smoke. However, I do agree that telco's will take a cautious approach to deployment of ADSL for Internet or remote lan access.
