If I remember correctly, doesn't VTSS usually come in one cent higher than the estimate?(a la Cisco?) If so, it seems kind of silly for there to be a higher "whisper" number...

I'm not worried about whisper numbers in situations like this. If you are a day trader, it may make a difference. But if you're in for the long term, the earnings showed that the business is strong, on track, and growing. Should portend well for the coming years.
