since installing Kaspersky AntiVirus (KAV) almost two months ago, i have enjoyed definition updates twice daily, just about every day of the week, including weekends. sometimes the update contains four files... sometimes 20 or 50 or more.

i read a lot of security forums, and when i see increased chatter about a certain threat, i watch the vendor updates start to arrive. NAV and KAV are always right there. Mcafee is usually right on it. Trend seems to be on time, along with NOD32 and Sophos. with this latest Palyh worm, i even saw AVG issue an update pretty quickly.

it's a good feeling to have AV software that issues definitions as frequently as KAV.
