Hi there LG,
Sorry for the delayed response - we had our press release yesterday, and it kept us hopping! The response has been great.
Regarding the last question, we are directly regulated by the Antigua Gaming Commission. The Director of Gaming reports directly to the Cabinet of the Antiguan government. They have instituted a policy which we think is a great idea - should a customer have a complaint or inquiry regarding IndexTrade.com, they can write directly to the director@antiguagaming.com . If these complaints are not dealt with fairly to the satisfaction of the Commissioner, we can be shut down.
This gives our customers great power over us, and backs up our guarantee that we will maintain high standards of customer service.
To address your point on market risk, LG, I have worked very hard with our development team to create a system which gives me a top-level risk picture, updated every 5 seconds.
So every 5 seconds we have the information that we require to execute hedges or otherwise cover our risk. And we have a policy of not keeping risk on our books. We are simply providing an excellent way to trade the directional movements of the markets, and do not act as a storehouse for risk. We aggregate what we can, and pass on what cannot be matched. Speed is the key, and we have very fast trading links in all products. We're really trying to create the infrastructure of a trading floor and pass it on in a smaller form to the individual. And so far we've had a great response!
Regarding deposit insurance, we are presently in talks with a couple of different insurance firms. Since our concept is new, we must first go through an educational process with the insurers in order to secure deposit insurance. This will take some time, but we hope to have this in place within 6-12 months. In the meantime, we will have to let the high quality of our organization and website speak for our means and intentions to transform www.IndexTrade.com into a globally respected trading platform.
I hope that this addresses your concerns.
Regards,
