I just heard Rep. Boehner on Michael Medved say that he and Senator McConnell had sat at a table with President Obama and told him that his tax policies (esp. the unknown quality of his tax policies) was retarding economic recovery because employers were sitting on their hands rather than hiring. Boehner said Obama slapped the table and said, "It's not my policies that are scaring people. It's you Republicans who are scaring people."

Obama does not believe in basic economic theory. He just doesn't.
