Players Network to Launch Internet Television Network
LAS VEGAS, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Players Network (OTC Bulletin Board: PNTV) today announced the signing of an agreement with Play Streaming Media Group (PSMG) whereby Players Network receives the rights to utilize the GlobeCaster Internet television technology. Players Network will utilize the GlobeCaster technology to enter the Video Commerce (V-Commerce) Industry with the launch of a 24 hour television network on their playersnetwork.com gaming and entertainment Internet portal website. V-Commerce is the sale of video content to be syndicated over multiple websites.
The launch of the 24 hour television network will open up multiple revenue opportunities for the Company. By utilizing existing programming from the Players Network closed circuit television network, the Company enters the V-Commerce industry, enabling them to generate revenue by selling content to other web programmers and exchange content through revenue sharing agreements. Players Network plans to provide existing programming on the new Internet television network and provide live remote broadcasts on human interest stories and events involving the gaming and entertainment industries. The Company plans to begin immediate conversion and production in preparation of the launch of the Players Network interactive programming schedule on the PlayersNetwork.com website.
