Not all rural schools are alike. The report found, for example, students were more likely to attend high-poverty schools in remote areas, compared to rural schools that are closer to urban communities.

Have you heard of the term exurbia? Its the ring around metro areas that's rural now but is experiencing an influx of well educated white people from the nearby metro area. I wonder how many schools that fit this definition are included in this study.
